There are many fun, special events happening in Guelph for March Break. March Break this year goes from March 13th to 17th.
The Bookshelf Cinema is screening family matinees the 13th to 17th. The movies include Kubo and the Two Strings, The Little Prince, The Secret Life of Pets, and Song of the Sea. These special screenings are being presented by the Guelph Film Festival.
The following restaurants downtown restaurants have special deals for kids aged 12 and under during March Break: Afterlife Cafe, Baker Street Station, Breezy Corners, Bobby O'Briens, Bollywood Bistro, Boon Burger, The Cornerstone, Diana Downtown, miijidaa, Red Brick Cafe, Sweet!, Vienna Restaurant, Wellington Cakes, The Western Hotel, The Wooly, and Wimpy's Diner.
The Guelph Public Library has a ton of excellent events planned. Some of their many scheduled events are Zippee the clown, a teen movie, puppetry, and knitting.
The Dragon is holding 3 free games: Pokemon League, Magic and Magic Juniors.

Each morning at the Guelph Civic Museum there will be water themed activities. Each day will be different activities and presenters.

Monday to Friday at Stone Road Mall, Mad Science will be putting on science shows and interactive fun stations.

Galaxy Cinemas Guelph (Woodlawn Road location) are having special $2.99 Family Favourites screenings for March Break. Each morning they will be showing Storks, Trolls, The Secret Lives of Pets, and Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them.
Every day of March Break, Boston Pizza is offering exciting special events. They will have painting, robots, slime making and more. Each day is a different activity.
Fantescapes is going to present Save the Emojis. It can be adapted for all ages. Players need to find emojis to solve curious conundrums, riddles, and puzzles.
The University is once again hosting College Royal. I attend every year and believe it to be a must attend family event! There are TONS of events including Old Mac's farm, a cat show, a dog show, a tractor rodeo, food, pancake flipping, arts and crafts, square dancing and more.
